Hey there bloggy friends! I have a special treat for all of you today. I hope you enjoy.
In 2005 I did a brief stint in the Holbrook High School where I met Tanryelle Tafoya (then Jones). Tany was one of those people you could not help but instantly adore. She is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She is one of those rare gems that you will never forget because she was always so kind to you.
Thanks to social media I have been able to keep in touch with Tany and the happenings of her life. She is now married with 4 gorgeous children. Tany and her husband Levi have made their home one that will always serve the Lord. Their faith is admirable and they are doing wonderful things to help others spread the Gospel.
Tany and Levi have started a company called FirstCor. FirstCor is a faith-based clothing company where fashion meets faith. It is amazing. It is about time that someone made clothing that is not only stylish, but also contains a beautiful message.
I asked Tany to write me a short insert on what the company is all about.
"FirstCor Apparel is a faith-based clothing company from Glendale, Arizona. It is named after 1 Corinthians, the seventh book in the New Testament. 1 Corinthians is the first letter from Paul to the city of Corinth, Greece. A city very parallel to how we live today in America. He wrote specifically to the church to withstand all of the crime, immorality, and idolatry. He shares how the church in Corinth received Christ by faith; and by grace, had entered into a new life, and had been enriched by him"
"The owners and operators of FirstCor Apparel, Levi and Tany Tafoya, felt a call on their life, in the summer of 2009, to spread the Gospel through clothing. Essentially allowing others to be a walking billboard for Christ."
I am so excited to see this company grow and prosper as I am sure it will. I want to see people all over wearing clothing from FirstCor and showing their love and faith in God.
