A few months ago my computer quit working, it would come on but there was nothing on the screen, then it would shut off, come on, shut off, come on, you get the picture..but my computer didn't. I took it to a computer place in Lakeside and they told me my graphics card was "totally fried," guess I can not expect proper grammar from a full blown computer nerd ;) Anyway, so I have not been using my computer at all even though I know if I let it try really hard it will come on, but only for a few minutes. Recently, I needed some pictures and a few documents from it and decided to bring it to work with me. The first night it took about 10 minutes or so before it finally came on. I did what I had to do in a hurry because I was sure it was going to turn off at any second, low and behold it did not. In fact it did not turn off until prompted to do so. I was very pleased! The next night and nights to follow, it came on right away and has had no issues whatsoever. It is even remembering the correct day and time, unlike before. I am so very happy, yet a little cautious. Im not going to rush into getting internet at the house anytime soon, I am perfectly content using the internet at work. Yet, I am super happy that I do not have to buy a new computer any time soon :D!!
In other good news Brandon's new job has been going very well, for all of us. We are able to not only pay bills, but pay them on time, and in full, which is a huge step for us. Also, we even have a few dollars here and there to throw in Audrey's piggy bank, or just plain throw away. Haha, jk. Everyone says Brandon has the worst job out there and he agrees, but we are just happy for him to have a job. Parker says he works the hardest and gets paid the least. Who knows maybe it will lead to something better eventually. You never know. And even though he may not like the work, he LOVES working. I have seen such an improvement in his attitude and outlook. Makes me so happy that he feels better about everything. He is back to being the bread winner ;)
I really enjoy mine and Audrey's quality "us" time while Brandon is at work. We get to have our own schedule and do whatever we feel like doing! I get so much done around the house and Audrey gets to listen to nursery rhymes on the tv while she plays, fun stuff. But we miss him too, it's harder for me because I get so lonely when Audrey goes down for her nap. Im so used to having someone around :( It's worth it though and Im sure I'll get used to it eventually.
Well that's us for now. I'm hoping to take Audrey sledding this saturday but we'll see... If we do I'll post pics.
Toodles for now! Bisou*Bisou
